Join Navigate Expeditions for a leisurely 3 hour kayak up the Bermagui River and back, starting 8.30am at Bermagui Bridge boat ramp. Marvel at the turquoise coloured water the Sapphire Coast is famous for, pass mangroves where we often see herons foraging on the shoreline and cormorants drying their wings on tree branches. Further up river we’ll make time to stop paddling, take in the natural surroundings and listen to the tranquil sound of the bell birds. Eventually stopping along the river bank for morning tea break and, if the weather is lovely, perhaps even a swim before heading back to where we started.
